Dr. William Kessinger M.D., F.A.A.P.
Received his medical degree from Texas A&M University and completed his internship and residency at the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In 1988, he received the Owen Rennert Award for Excellence in Pediatrics. Dr. Kessinger has been in private practice since 1988, first in Springfield, Missouri and in 1992 started Pediatric Healthcare Associates, P.A. in McKinney. Dr. Kessinger has maintained American Board of Pediatrics Certification since 1989 with recertification in 1997 and 2004. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Through the course of his career, Dr. Kessinger has served as the Pediatric Department Chairman of Medical Center of McKinney on several occasions over the years. He is also on the Board of Directors of the Patient Physician Networks, the Board of Directors of the Plano Physician's Group, and serves as chairman of the Physician Steering Committee for the Baylor Medical Center of McKinney. Dr. Kessinger spends his free time sailing.
